I hope you are all refreshed from summer holidays. Having not seen you since our July sale, we are bursting at the seams! Over 100 walking sticks of all shapes and sizes, one made from a large fish spine and many with silver pommels, railway signs including Hampstead and lamps, a signal arm, meters, a ‘line clear’ indicator and some great toys including two Louis Marx tanks, one US Army No. 3 the other British, and a road crane, a Dover Toys Clapper Board Dancer, an Ingap roundabout, a Rettoy fire station, Bing, Hornby and Lionel trains, an old Hornby station, old Meccano, a magic lantern, old pond yachts, a Hobbies Bowman Aeroboat I, old lead farm animals and soldiers, modern Lima all boxed, 1950s Eagle comics, a Nazi dagger with silver scabbard, a 17th century Samurai sword in lacquer scabbard with ornate tsuba.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS including two old violins, one by Arturo Ponzetti in a 19th century mahogany box, the other with a lion head stock in a 19th century rosewood box, an early clarinet and saxophone and a mandolin. BOOKS including an unusual miniature revolving bookstand of books, 3 volumes of Salmons Modern History, 1774 (We have a large consignment of old Russian books in the November sale.). JEWELLERY includes lots of gold chains and sovereigns, a 2 row pearl necklace with superb rose diamond-set clasp, gold pocket and wrist watches, a sapphire and diamond turtle brooch in 18ct gold, an Art Deco sapphire and diamond double clip brooch, a 1.5ct diamond ring, lots of costume jewellery, etc. SILVER AND PLATE is well represented, including a silver mounted claret jug and tea sets.
