Our auction of books, signs and Oriental carpets was great, and a big thank you for paying and clearing so quickly.
Our next auction is FURNITURE, GARDEN ORNAMENTS, LUGGAGE AND MIRRORS on Thursday 16th July. It starts at noon and will be over by 2 pm. You must clear quickly and by Tuesday the 21st at the latest so we can prepare the following sale.
It’s online, telephone or commission bidding only, with viewing by appointment over Monday and Tuesday the 13th and 14th July between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm and on Wednesday the 15th between 9.30 am and 6 pm, and also on the morning of sale from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. Live bidding in the room will not be available.
If you are viewing you must wear a face mask over your mouth and nose and also wear gloves. Lots in the sale will not be sterilized between viewings.
From this sale on, buying at Bainbridges will cost you 2% more plus VAT on the increase. This way we stay in business.
All lots are photographed and the catalogue will be online with UKAuctioneers, with whom you can bid online, the weekend before the sale and also on our own website. Remember to register with UKAuctioneers for online bidding, and you can leave commission bids with us as normal either by email or by filling in a form when you view.
We will have for you big mirrors, big garden pots and ornaments, a large number of cabin trunks and suitcases and the usual selection of Georgian, Victorian and retro/vintage furniture, along with beds, settees, white goods and televisions.
Please add to your diary the 13th August. That’s when we will sell our paintings, jewellery, silver, toys, fashion and all the usual bric-a-brac and shelf items including bronzes and clocks. Also carpets.
