Dear Friends,
My yuletide message to you is to get down to our sale on black Thursday the 5th December. You will not believe what we have for you.
Gentlemen, let me address you first if I may. Christmas needs ALCOHOL and we have shelves of it. Flavoured Vodkas abound with about 12 dozen bottles. Then there’s the Champagnes including Dom Perignon, the whiskys are mainly Scottish with plenty of single malts including Macallan 12 year old from oak and from sherry barrels, and American Bourbon and Southern Comfort. A very special bottle is a 25 year old bottle of The Glenlivet single malt produced for the first marriage of Prince Charles. It’s bottle number 185 in its original box and clear plastic outer case. We are estimating £350-£450, the same estimate as for a bottle of 1893 vintage brandy by Adet. Chateau bottled wines and table wines with sherry and exotic liqueurs complete the choice.
And ladies, you will not believe what we have for you. Perfect timing as ever. We have taken delivery of one lady’s collection of DESIGNER AND VINTAGE FASHION. I estimate a quarter of a million pounds at cost. There are few names she didn’t buy, so here are just a few and they are for all occasions and well looked after – Chanel, Balenciaga, Courreges, Yves Saint Laurent, Jean Paul Gaultier, Stella McCartney, Dolce and Gabbana, Prada, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and many others. She must have had about 50 handbags including an Hermes Birkin bag in soft dark brown, never used (still being checked), Louis Vuitton, Lalique, Prada, Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Valentino, Vivienne Westwood, Anya Hindmarch, Mulberry and shoes similarly sourced including Christian Louboutin. I give you fair warning to prepare your debit cards for a walloping!
